Born and raised in Rochester, NY, I decided to leave the cold snow behind and made my way to Jackson, MS to attend Belhaven University. I received my BFA in Graphic Design, married a boy from Starkville, MS, and made Mississippi home. After about a decade in my husband's hometown of Starkville, we were called to Laurel, MS in 2018 and we love our new hometown!We have an amazing, nature-loving son, who we homeschool. We also have a full menagerie with two rescue dogs, a spoiled house rabbit, and a gargoyle gecko.My hobbies include playing bass and guitar at church. I also enjoy spending time outside, walking, hiking, etc.

Desiring to help entrepreneurs, small businesses and non-profits find and come into their own identity, Sparrow Ink Design offers professional designs that will establish a clear and unique presence, effectively helping propel your business to the front of the market.In the fall of 2020, I was blessed to join the design team at Gather 'Round Homeschool. This curriculum has been life-giving for us in our homeschool, but also professionally. Gather 'Round now takes the bulk of my work time and my personal client availability is limited.
When you have a kid, never say never because you may end up doing the thing you said you would never do! Homeschooling was that for us. I never considered myself to be cut out as a home educator, but here we are, making it work! Mabry Academy is the name of our little homeschool. Learning new things each day with my child has been a gift I never saw coming.
